Getting a

Home Inspection

Most home inspections are completed in and around 2-3 hours, they encompass a general assessment of the quality of construction and an overview of health, safety and major items.

Why i am uniquely qualified to provide home inspections and why they are so important! My name is jacob and in 2019 i was homeless, well, not really. I was trying to get into real estate and flipping properties so my family helped me get into a home and taught me how to renovate THE WORST properties!

About Jake – A Home Inspector With Real Hands-On Expertise

When it comes to protecting a homebuyer’s or seller’s investment, experience matters — real, hands-on experience. My name is Jake, and I bring a rare combination of construction training, HVAC diagnostics, remodeling expertise, and over 400 completed home inspections into every property I evaluate.

I built my inspection business with one mission:
give clients clarity, confidence, and accurate insight based on real technical skill — not guesses, shortcuts, or surface-level checkups.

My Background & Why It Makes a Difference

🏗 12 Full Home Remodels Completed

I’ve not only inspected homes — I’ve rebuilt them. From framing to finishes, from electrical rough-ins to HVAC commissioning, I’ve been inside the structure of homes at every stage of life.
This experience allows me to:

  • Understand how systems fit together

  • Identify hidden problems behind cosmetic work

  • Recognize poor craftsmanship immediately

  • Explain structural integrity in simple terms

  • Give realistic repair and replacement recommendations

Most inspectors never touch a house beyond a checklist.
I’ve built, repaired, and redesigned them.

🎓 Education & Certifications That Set Me Apart

I’m a graduate of Northwestern Technological Institute, one of the most respected HVAC/Building Systems schools in Michigan. I graduated at the top of my class, earning certifications in:

  • Boilers (gas & hydronic systems)

  • Heat Pumps

  • Hydraulic Systems

  • Residential & Light Commercial HVAC

  • Property Maintenance

  • Safety & Building Systems

  • Electrical Fundamentals & Troubleshooting

  • Plus additional training across home infrastructure, diagnostic procedures, and mechanical system efficiency

This formal training makes a major difference during an inspection.
I don’t simply identify a furnace or breaker box — I understand how it works, how it fails, and what it means for your home.

🔧 7+ Years of Construction, HVAC & Infrastructure Experience

Beyond inspections, my background includes:

  • HVAC troubleshooting & system diagnostics

  • Electrical system evaluation

  • Plumbing and fixture repair

  • Roofing, gutters, and drainage systems

  • Ventilation and insulation

  • Structural components & load assessments

  • Appliance safety

  • Gas valves, flares, seals, and venting

  • Refrigerant systems, superheat/subcool

  • Boiler operations & efficiency

This level of technical depth allows me to explain not just what is wrong with a home, but why, how serious it is, and the realistic cost or repair path.

🏡 400+ Home Inspections Completed

With more than 400 fully documented inspections, I’ve seen:

  • First-time buyer homes

  • New construction

  • Fix-and-flips

  • Older homes with hidden issues

  • Luxury homes

  • Condos

  • Rural properties

  • Homes with complex mechanical systems

Each inspection is done with:

  • High-resolution photos

  • Clear explanations in everyday language

  • A clean, organized report

  • Safety, maintenance, and budgeting notes

  • A summary of top priorities for negotiations

Your report isn’t just a document — it becomes a roadmap for your decision-making.

🛡 Real protection, clear answers, no fear tactics.

I break down complex issues into simple terms so you understand:

  • Safety risks

  • Repair urgency

  • Future budgeting

  • What matters now vs. what can wait

I inspect each home as if my own family were moving into it.

A professional inspection helps:
